Our History
GLR LLC had its beginnings in 1997 as MetaStrategic.de, a consulting firm of which our current Chairman of the Board, Fritz Eisele Thurau, was a partner and CEO. GLR LLC was established on a warm day in August 2008 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, during the early days of the 2008 financial crisis, when Fritz Eisele Thurau, then a young economist and business executive with a now well-developed appreciation for Amaretto and cigars, was informed that his services at his current job were no longer needed. Seizing the opportunity, Mr. Eisele Thurau merged MetaStrategic.de, by then his own company, into a newly formed group called "The Global Leadership Resources Network."
Having been given the opportunity by his Vice President at his former job to stay on until the end of 2008, as well as to lead the efforts to establish the now-recognized and renamed Caribbean Association of Resort Developers, Mr. Eisele quickly learned the value of High-Level Lobbying, particularly Personal, Strategic, and most importantly, Discreet Lobbying. Thus, he began incorporating key individuals from the public and private sectors into an already substantial and solid contact list that Mr. Eisele had accumulated over the years. This list, along with the growing need for people worldwide to be introduced to others for business purposes, created the first division in this newly formed group, a division dedicated to Business Development through Public Relations, aimed at linking people and companies with high levels of morality, civic duty, and, above all, a commitment to social responsibility. Following these developments, Mr. Eisele began to be sought out by new contacts due to his outstanding reputation. He always, very carefully, decided who would be accepted as a client and who would not. Fees, representation expenses, brokerage commissions—these were all welcomed but only from those who shared Mr. Eisele’s values of Passion, Integrity, Empathy, Excellence, and Credibility, and above all, his passion for contributing to societal improvement through education and maximizing people's potential.
The referral business soon began to grow, and Mr. Eisele’s passion for excellence led to the launch of a second division, this one focused on organizational development with an emphasis on leadership, excellence, and both personal and professional integrity. In this division, we developed and enhanced the areas of opportunity for employees and teams, helping them execute their daily tasks with a focus on achieving their goals through world-class metrics. Mr. Eisele was, and to this day remains, a tough and demanding client—tough and demanding but fair. He continues to believe that anyone with a job or responsibility of any kind owes it, above all, to their own creator, not only to do the best they can with the resources they have but also to seek additional resources to do an even better job. CPI-Comprehensive Personal Growth is what he calls it to this day. Growth as a person, growth as a worker, growth as a responsible and civic-minded human being.
Success in these areas, thanks to hard team work, led to the launch of a special division called the Elite Partners Programme—a division dedicated to the training and development of those employees, managers, directors, and senior executives who wished to strive to maximize their own potential to help themselves and their teams grow both personally and professionally and become leaders committed to Excellence. Mr. Eisele and his team had found their Holy Grail: helping others become leaders to transcend and form even more leaders, more people of good.
Today, after a very difficult period during the years 2012, 2013, and now, despite COVID-19, Global Leadership Resources LLC once again flourishes and is present around the world through its Global Network of over 11,300 top-level contacts, passionately dedicated to transforming People, Teams, and Companies into Leaders Committed to Excellence.
